Expansion
In view of the additional rush of passengers, Railways is starting to operate several summer special trains. In this series, the train will run from Muzaffarpur, Saharsa, Bhagalpur and Gaya to New Delhi. This information was given by Chief Public Relations Officer Virender Kumar.
Muzaffarpur-Delhi-Muzaffarpur Summer Special (04044/04043)
Delhi- Muzaffarpur Summer Special Train (04044) will depart from Delhi at 19:40 hrs on every Saturday and Tuesday of the week from 04th May to 28th May and reach Muzaffarpur at 19:20 hrs the next day. In return, this train will become Muzaffarpur-Delhi Summer Special Train (04043) and will depart from Muzaffarpur at 22:30 hrs on every Sunday and Wednesday of the week from May 5 to May 29 and reach Delhi at 23:10 the next day. This special will have 18 air-conditioned third class coaches. This train will run via Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhyay Jn.-Varanasi.
Saharsa-New Delhi-Saharsa Summer Special (04074/04073)
New Delhi-Saharsa Summer Special (04074) – Will depart from New Delhi at 20:50 hrs every Sunday and Thursday from 05th May to 30th May and reach Saharsa at 23:30 hrs the next day. In return, as train number 04073, Saharsa-New Delhi Summer Special will depart from Saharsa at 05:30 on every Tuesday and Saturday of the week from 07 May to 01 June and reach New Delhi at 10:15 the next day. This special will have 18 air-conditioned third class coaches. This train will run via Hajipur-Chhapra-Gorakhpur.
Bhagalpur-New Delhi-Bhagalpur Summer Special (04022/04021) ,
New Delhi-Bhagalpur Summer Special (04022) will depart from New Delhi at 13:20 hrs every Monday and Thursday from 06th May to 30th May and reach Bhagalpur at 12:00 hrs the next day. In return, Train No. 04021 Bhagalpur-New Delhi Summer Special will depart from Bhagalpur at 13:30 hrs on every Tuesday and Friday of the week from 07 May to 31 May and reach New Delhi at 12:15 hrs the next day. This special will have 18 air-conditioned third class coaches. This train will run via Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhyay Jn.- Ara-Buxar.
Patna-New Delhi Unreserved Special (04411) It will be operated for one trip on 4th May. This special will depart from Patna at 21:30 hrs and reach New Delhi at 15:00 hrs the next day via Arrah, Buxar, Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay Junction.
Gaya-Anand Vihar Superfast Special (03639)
Gaya-Anand Vihar Superfast Special will depart from Gaya at 18:00 hrs on 04th May and 06th May and reach Anand Vihar at 09:15 hrs the next day via Sasaram, DDU, Prayagraj, Kanpur.
Anand Vihar-Gaya Superfast Special (03640)
Anand Vihar-Gaya Superfast Special will depart from Anand Vihar at 12:00 hrs on 05th May and 07th May and reach Gaya at 05:00 hrs the next day via Kanpur, Prayagraj, DDU, Sasaram.
